Chinese knot is a symbol of traditional chinese culture, which have a long history and a symbolic meaning. The Chinese word for ‘rope’ is ‘sheng’ that sounds similar to the words for ‘spirit,’ ‘divine,’ and ‘life.’ The knot is woven by rope and had a spiritual meaning and were used for worship.
However ,the menstruation is thought to be impure and filthy in traditional culture due to the discrimination. Period-shaming is everywhere. As we know, menstruation is nothing but a normal physiological phenomena which is vital and has nothing to be shamed about.
